Brooke graduated from North Carolina State University with a BA in English and a minor in Psychology. She then obtained her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Brooke completed internships at ECU Family Therapy Clinic and ECU Healthy Weight Comprehensive Care Clinic. She enjoyed collaborating with a team of clinicians to provide therapy to families and children living with various health concerns.
Brooke is passionate about helping people from a solution-oriented approach and teaches skills to improve communication, challenge anxious thoughts, and shift perspective. Her goal is to encourage and support clients as they learn new ways of viewing the world, their relationships, and themselves. She enjoys helping people who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. Brooke offers therapy for individuals, families, and couples and utilizes several modalities, including Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
