Lori Tryon is the Educational Consultant/Parent Support Specialist at 3-C Family Services. She earned her B.S. in Education with a concentration in Speech-Language Pathology from Kutztown University in 1988. She recently earned her M.Ed. in school administration from Capella University.
Lori served as a speech therapist in New Jersey for seven years before moving to N.C. She has served in many educational-related positions while being a stay home mom: advocate, tutor, and therapeutic horseback riding instructor. Over the past 11 years, she has worked in the capacity of EC teacher, EC Director, and Assistant Principal. She has a wide variety of experiences with the IEP process (referrals, initial eligibility, re-evaluations, Extended School Year, Compensatory Education), Comparable Services- for out-of-state transfers, Manifestation Determinations, and overall IEP compliance for students of all ages Pre-K to high school.
